Pinal County in Arizona is one of the hardest hit communities when it comes to drug misuse and overdoses.  In an effort to combat the rising epidemic of stimulant & other illicit drug misuse, the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office began developing relationships with area mental and behavioral health providers to bring treatment opportunities to addicts entering their detention facilities. Sheriff Mark Lamb will discuss these unique relationships the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office has established and discuss progress and setbacks this new program has seen since its inception.
